Shipping policy
Depending on the size of the delivery, we ship via DHL, UPS, or our freight partner Rhenus. The shipping method for your order is indicated in your order confirmation.
DHL Parcel Delivery Service
• Delivery within approximately 10 business days after receipt of payment
• Shipping information sent by email on the day of dispatch
• Not at home? If you are absent at the time of delivery, the package will be delivered to a neighbor if possible, or it will be available for pickup at your local post office for one week.
UPS Parcel Delivery Service
• Delivery within approximately 10 business days after receipt of payment
• Shipping information sent by email on the day of dispatch
• Not at home? If you are absent at the time of delivery, the driver will leave a notice in your mailbox indicating the UPS service point where your package can be picked up.
Rhenus Freight Delivery Service
• Delivery within approximately 10–15 business days after receipt of payment
• Delivery by phone appointment: Our freight company will usually contact you 1–2 days before delivery to arrange a convenient time.
We and our partners strive to provide the best service for our customers. However, there may be exceptional cases in which unforeseen delays occur. The freight company cannot be held responsible for events such as force majeure, weather- or traffic-related incidents, or human error. Therefore, we cannot assume liability for rescheduled delivery appointments.
• Deliveries are made Monday to Friday during normal business hours (no Saturday deliveries possible)
• Furniture is often large and bulky, so delivery may be made on pallets. Please note that these will also need to be disposed of.
• Delivery “curbside”: To keep your delivery costs as low as possible, we ship via a general cargo freight company.
Additional services such as carrying the items to their final location, assembly, or disposal of packaging/shipping pallets are unfortunately not possible.
